Topics discussed in the weekly meeting:
Group discussion to establish and finalise our ideas for our USP and vision understanding environmental political and social issues to understand the needs for modern architecture. These will be demonstrated in our policies and business plan.
We have evaluated the future scenarios of cities regarding future markets and scenarios.
Including the ideas of a more sustainable community with all-electric cars and incorporating this into our architecture as well as the wider problems of sustainability and overpopulation.
We started to narrow down on environmental impacts and sustainability and looked at disaster recovery and housing but opted for a look at creating architecture that was formed from the site for the business plan.
Tasks and actions for the following week:
Ben- Establish the policies and elaborate on research surrounding the design approach and ideas of the company.
Bee- Develop the business plan through individual subject areas to create a comprehensive and cohesive plan.
Müge- Create templates and layouts for every page and continue adding in content to the website. Organise MIRO board due to scale issues.
Borna- Correct issues discussed with Anthony regarding employment numbers.
Müge; “This team is working so well together! It is an unusual feeling in this course to be in a group where you can rely on all members to get their jobs done. We found an issue that was overlooked in the brief that the website was not compatible with mobile so Bee has made sure to pick up this task and is already making great progress with it. I am glad we have the weekly meetings and are able to contact each other via Facebook because we can track that we all up to date and moving in the same direction and keeping to the theme of the business”.
