We believe promotion through these platforms are the most suitable for practical, visual and intellectual communication alongside forming new networking connections: an important factor of meeting individuals.

An important element to state is our environmental concerns over the waste and outcome of physical business cards, billboard advertisements, leaflets and so on. Thus, at Atelier Regolith, we have taken our first step towards a more environmentally-friendly world and produced online business cards. With digital advertisement in mind, we strive to stand apart and produce high quality content to attract the attention of our potential clients.

 

It is evident that one of the most cost-effective ways to promote traffic onto our business’ website or social media pages are through these free accounts, in which our audience have the choice to subscribe and follow our pages and receive our updates at their own free will, without being overloaded with information they may not particularly want to receive. The multiple social media platforms we have running are Instagram (@atelierregolith), Facebook (@atelierregolith) and Pinterest, with aims to expand to Twitter and Vimeo in the near future. With technology advancing, applications such as Facebook are progressing towards paid promotion by paying for adverts, which Atelier Regolith will opt for if we intend to broaden our clientele on that forum. This is to promote our firm or particular events we hold.

We believe this is a strategic manner as data recorded by The Architect Marketing Institute outlines that Facebook receives over one million new users per month, one million different individuals join social media channels per day, and over 40 million small businesses use Facebook Pages to promote their business. At Atelier Regolith we believe it's highly important to take advantage of networking opportunities, thus attend conferences, meetings, MS Teams calls that we believe can provide us with new potential clients or individuals interested in our branch. Through these events we aim to make new connections and spot the skills we already have.

 

Through these opportunities, we aim to develop a strong portfolio, conveying our talent as an upcoming architectural firm to others. Based on our personal experiences, we have seen a great benefit of how one connection can often easily lead to another, where one conversation can led you to a new client. For this reason, we actively aim to attend events organised by RIBA and RIBA East Midlands.

  • The font’s we have chosen are easy to read, suitable for our architectural theme and coordinate with our photographs: Playfair Display Bold for titles, Helvetica Bold for Sub-Headings and Helvetica Regular for paragraph text.

  • All photographs excluding the aerial and landscape photographs are taken by our Marketing Director. It’s essential to create your own style to stand apart.

  • Our logo is defined by our colour palette choice.

  • Aerial photographs/landscapes are chosen in accordance with our colour scheme for coordination across the site.

  • We value visual representation, thus believe in producing the best content we potentially can. To create such, we use Adobe’s Lightroom and Photoshop. Announcements, banners, graphics for posts across social media are produced on Adobe Spark.
