Our Vision
Our Practice
Company Structure

As a company we work using a flat organisational structure. This means that our employees often have more responsibility and are more involved in important conversations. This structure also simplifies internal communication making our practice more efficient.

Our Practice consists of four partners and is classified by RIBA as a small practice. We are hoping to expand our company. If you are interested in applying for our company and have an interest in vernacular architecture, click below.
Company Image

At Atelier Regolith we aim to maintain a professional company image. Throughout our website, documents, social media and anything else we create we keep the same image. We use the same font and colour scheme which reflects our ethos of creating vernacular architecture, whilst our type face is efficient and professional yet reflects our modern company.

Dress Code

At Atelier Regolith we aim to maintain a high level of professionalism and therefore when meeting with clients we adhere to a smart dress code.

We take the correct procedures to ensure safety for all those on site. We require that PPE be worn at all times when visiting the site.

Office Space

Our office space is located in Nottingham. Here our team meets works from a converted barn to collaborate on projects and to create scale models.

We chose to be based in Nottingham due to it having good public transport which reduces the need for cars therefore creating less pollution. It is also located near the East Midlands airport and is central in the UK which avoids travelling longer distances when visiting sites.

As a team we all met in Nottingham during our architecture studies at university so it seemed fitting for us to set up in the place it all started.
Sustainable Travel

At Atelier Regolith we aim to be as sustainable as possible. As well as using public transport where possible to travel to sites and meetings, we also use ZipCar.

This is a company that works as a car sharing service. Simply download the app, sign up with a valid licence and hire a car by the hour or by the day.

ThIs works to reduce the amount of pollution in the air as cars can be rented whenever they are needed. Plans range between £0-£15 a month. This company will help us become more sustainable as a company

Diversity and Equality
Upon researching the statistics of people of colour in architecture, only 1% of registered architects are black. Of that 1%, 24% of BAME architects have experienced racism in the work place. At Atelier Regolith we do not stand for racism or inequality and therefore take will take immediate and serious action should this occur at our company. However, we work to educate our employees of the dangers of systematic racism in architecture in a hope that no incidents should occur.

Firm History

Our firm began when our partners reunited over a desire to create a sustainable company that focuses on using vernacular materials from sites, after studying architecture and gaining their RIBA Part One at university in Nottingham together.
