As a creative design practice, we feel that it is important our process and ethos are shown through in everything we do from our paperwork to architecture.
We have ensured within our social media platforms and website that we reflect our capabilities and views through all aspects, including, font, colour scheme, and layout.
The colour scheme for our practice was formed from the aerial images of Benjamin Grant. We selected earthy and natural hues from the landscapes we find ourselves developing. These include greens of forests and browns of the earth’s stratum. Find our colour scheme we have used throughout our publications and graphic design below.
Font was an important choice for the team and we concluded between Playfair Display and Helvetica. This contrast in modern and organic type, quite literally reflects our work, bridging between the natural and manmade landscapes. Using a change in type styles allows differentiation between importance and types of work, similar to our usage of materials.
We tried to make our website as easily understandable as possible by making the user interface intuitive and follow the idea of an architectural journey with a logical route.
On our Instagram feed we have continued this idea. Our captions are all carefully considered and designed to fit the posts like how we play attention to the finer things in our architecture. Whereas the grid follows a rhythm like the natural world, forests and land.
