Material Specialist

As a child I never thought of myself being an architect. Yet I was always curious about the constructions of buildings and how all parts of a structure tied together. It all clicked in secondary school when this passion came out in my art and design technology projects. Around this time, I also became more interested in my dad’s company, installing glulam and CLT structures. This is where my passion for sustainable timber architecture has come from.

My journey to be an architect started by completing my RIBA Part 1 at Nottingham Trent University (2019 – 2022). Here I learnt a large variety of skills that has helped me greatly in this qualification process. I then completed a year’s work experience in a London based practice called Waugh Thistleton Architects. This company prides themselves with their sustainable projects, they are also a world leader in engineered timber and pioneers in tall timber buildings. I then completed a degree apprenticeship at this same practice alongside London Metropolitan University to get my RIBA Part 2. I then stayed in London to complete my RIBA Part 3.

After 5 years studying and working with timber architecture in London, I found Infinity Studios, a new company putting sustainability and the circular economy first. Here at Infinity Studios, I specialize in design control and the design ethos behind our company and our projects. Ensuring everything we do is to promote sustainability and all materials we use can be recycled and reused.
